It is not the hand of an hour that creates manifestations to deliver one’s desires of certainty or the bludgeoning of chance that creates moments of hope. It may resonate as a belief that coincidence is a likely solution to the prospective events that could allow change to a current outcome. Whereas a positive intention and present mind are what builds roads to limitless opportunities. Eula Allen once stated that an opportunity is the result of ideas held in the past and its God’s expression of appreciation to you. This is to make aware that all thoughts formulated in the present have a direct impact on your future.

As every thought and emotion influences your life experience, it is a wise man that understands the key to his new opportunities and success is a mind that is released from stress and the poisonous fruits it is fed. James Allen stated in his works As a man thinketh, that as a being of Power, Intelligence, and Love, and the Lord of his own thoughts, man holds the key to every situation, and contains within himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which he may make himself what he wills. This holds evident as we live and evolve in a culture where “like” characterizes assimilate “like” characteristics, also stated as “birds of a feather flock together” or expressed often as “a person becomes their environment”. This solely negates the principle that opposites attract which this perception is displayed to be false as we constantly witness a societal convergence of people into social groups that best fit their characteristics and desires. This is the derivative of a situation where a person cannot release themselves from a cycle of events in life. A person must remove themselves from old thoughts and habits to obtain new opportunities and newfound joy. Gary Zukav stated in his title Spiritual Partnership, that happiness requires changing circumstance, including people. Joy requires changing yourself. It is the inner-self that holds the answers to the reality you witness. When a person decides to listen to the harmonic vibrations of their heart and detaches themselves from a governing ego and judgmental society, then the spirit will grow, self-inflicted wounds will heal, and old life cycles will be broken and transformed into new cycles that will bring new opportunities.

To aid in amending your thoughts into positive seeds of fruit. Martin Luther King Jr says to put yourself in a state of mind where you say to yourself, ‘here is an opportunity for me to celebrate like never before, my own power, and my own ability to get myself to do whatever is necessary’. It is a constant effort to achieve what your heart truly desires, it’s a constant effort to relinquish a mind and heart filled with the blockage that limits great opportunities, and it’s a constant effort to remind yourself that we are spiritual beings and the comforts of the egotistical flesh and body shall not administrate possible outcomes of your destiny. On building our own opportunities we must take a vested interest in redirecting crippling habits. As the Greek philosopher, Aristotle states, we are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it. Happiness depends on the thoughts and actions of its artist. Intention awareness plus stilling the mind is an opportunist’s equation that results in desirable opportunities and outcomes as you release emotion that affects your thoughts negatively. This is the path to opportunity defined by your own destiny.
